Best Uses
This fleece asks a little more of you, and it's a great pick if you enjoy the prep. Card or comb it and blend it with other fibers, use it for felting, or spin a textured yarn for woven wall hangings, baskets and other decorative projects where a little hay won't matter. With almost 4 pounds, there's plenty for a bigger project.

Working Notes
Plan on picking and carding or combing before you spin, since there's still hay in the locks. Romney is easygoing to work with and drafts smoothly. Once it's prepped, it makes a sturdy, bouncy yarn, and it felts well too.
