Vintage Monsters

I've loved the classic monster movies for as long as I can remember. They're spooky without being scary, full of dramatic shadows, unforgettable characters, and just the right amount of old Hollywood charm. Every autumn I find myself reaching for them again.

This collection is my little love letter to those vintage films. Each Plying Pair is inspired by an iconic monster, with colors that capture the feeling of the movies rather than recreate them scene for scene. From crackling lightning and misty castles to forgotten tombs and moonlit forests, every pair tells its own story.

I designed these braids to take the guesswork out of plying while still leaving plenty of room for your own creativity.
