Fraggle Rock

Some shows stay with you long after you grow up, and Fraggle Rock is one of those for me. It was full of colorful characters, but what I remember most are the places. Cozy caves, busy workshops, tiny Doozer constructions, hidden swimming holes, sprawling gardens, and even a wise old Trash Heap. Every corner of Fraggle Rock felt like it had another story waiting to be discovered.

This collection is inspired by those places. Rather than recreating scenes from the show, I wanted each Plying Pair to capture the feeling of exploring them. Every set combines a colorful commercial Merino braid with a hand-dyed Rambouillet braid, creating a color story that's familiar to fellow Fraggle fans while leaving plenty of room for your own imagination.

I designed these Plying Pairs to take the guesswork out of choosing fibers that work beautifully together. Spin them as a traditional two-ply, experiment with a fractal, or let them inspire something completely unexpected.

I hope this collection reminds you to stay curious, make something with your hands, and maybe even hum a little Fraggle song while you're spinning. After all, adventures and creativity seem to go hand in hand.
