This is a washed Lincoln fleece in shades of charcoal and silver grey, with a few bright white locks mixed in and some hay still tucked inside.

Best Uses
This one asks a little more of you, so it's perfect if you like the hands-on part. Comb the locks and blend them with other fibers, try it for felting, or spin a chunky, textured yarn for woven wall hangings, baskets and other decorative projects. Nearly 5 pounds means you'll have plenty for a big project.

Working Notes
There's still hay in the locks, so combing or picking first will make spinning much easier. Lincoln's long staple drafts smoothly and doesn't need much twist. Once it's prepped, it makes a strong, shiny yarn with lovely drape.
