Best Uses
This one is ready for spinning, with very little picking needed. Karakul makes a strong, hard-wearing yarn, so it's a great pick for rug yarn, weaving and bags, or anything that needs to hold up to everyday use. The rich brown is gorgeous left natural.

Working Notes
Karakul has a long, shiny outer coat with a little softer fiber underneath. The long staple drafts smoothly and doesn't need much twist to hold together. It spins into a lustrous, durable yarn, and it also felts beautifully if you want to try that too.
