This is a washed Cotswold fleece in a soft creamy white, with long, glossy curls and a fair amount of hay still worked in.

Best Uses
This fleece asks a little more of the maker, and it rewards you if you enjoy combing. Blend the locks with other fibers, use them in felting, or spin a bold, textured yarn for woven wall hangings, baskets and other decorative pieces where a little hay is no big deal. At over 3 pounds, there's room to experiment.

Working Notes
Give the locks a good combing or picking first, since hay is still tucked into the curls. The long staple drafts smoothly and doesn't need much twist. Once prepped, it spins up into a strong, glossy yarn with beautiful drape, and the cream color takes dye well.
