Best Uses
This fleece asks a little more of you, and it's a great pick if you enjoy the prep. Comb out the locks and blend them with other fibers, use them for felting, or spin a textured yarn for woven wall hangings, baskets and other decorative projects where a little hay won't matter.

Working Notes
Plan on combing or picking before you spin, since a fair amount of hay is still in the locks. Mohair is slippery and drafts easily, so a little extra twist helps it hold together. Once it's prepped, it spins up into a strong, shiny yarn with a soft halo, and it takes dye beautifully.
