Nessarose is one of those characters I understand a little differently every time I watch Wicked. She's loving, frustrated, hopeful, and heartbreaking all at once. She reminds me that even the people we sympathize with can make difficult choices.
For this pair, I leaned into the rich reds that always make me think of her. One braid is full of deep crimson and wine, while the other adds layers of burgundy and purple for a little extra depth. Together they create a yarn that feels warm, dramatic, and full of emotion.
I designed these braids to take the guesswork out of plying while still leaving plenty of room for your own creativity.
