I've always had a soft spot for Cotswold locks. Their long, curly staples have so much character that they almost seem to have a mind of their own. Whether they're tucked into a handspun yarn, blended into a batt, or saved for a project that's still taking shape, they always seem to add a little extra texture and movement.

This batch is sorted as Medium VM, which means you'll find a manageable amount of vegetable matter still present. If you don't mind a little picking as you work, it's a wonderful way to enjoy beautiful Cotswold locks at a lower price. They're also a great choice if you plan to comb or further prepare the fiber before spinning, since more VM will naturally release during processing.

I love leaving room for curiosity. Blend these locks into a batt, tuck a few into an art yarn, mix them with other fibers, or save them for the project that hasn't quite revealed itself yet.
