Collection: A Midwinter Night's Dream

Midwinter has always felt like a turning point to me. In the old folklore, the longest night is when the Oak King defeats the Holly King, and the light slowly starts to find its way back. A Midwinter Night's Dream is my take on that night: dark and quiet, with color just waiting to return.

Every color starts on naturally dark grey American wool. It comes from farms through a regional wool pool and is processed by RH Lindsay, so I always know where it began. Overdyeing on grey instead of white is what gives these colors their depth. Ember red, berry, golden orange, forest green, glacial blue and wisteria purple all glow a little deeper, like color seen by firelight.
