PRE-ORDER - Roving Sliver - Sophria

This item is a pre-order. It will ship 2 weeks from ordering along with any other items purchased in your order.

Right after the sun goes down on a winter evening, the snow turns purple for a few quiet minutes. Sophria is that dusk, the last soft light before the longest night settles in.

Overdyeing it on dark grey wool gives the purple a velvety, shadowed depth that shifts between wisteria, plum and frost as you spin. It's soft and calm, with just enough mystery to feel like midwinter.

Spin it on its own, or let it carry the rest of the collection into evening.

Sliver roving is about half the width of commercial roving and twice as long.
